Detonate Group is committed to ensuring your job is delivered on time. All orders are shipped from Markham, Ontario using a wide range of couriers. Private courier services are also available from rush deliveries within the GTA.

Delivery Times

All orders require 24 to 48 hours to be processed
All orders are delivered on weekdays only (excluding holidays)
Orders are not processed on weekends (unless otherwise specified)

Payment Options

Detonate Group accepts both Visa and Mastercard for all orders. Please call 416-388-6713 to pay via credit card. All ordered must be paid in full before they are shipped.

Taxes

Taxes will be automatically added to your order total and indicated as a separate line item. Residents of Ontario are subject to 13% HST. All other provinces and territories are subject to the tax of their respective province.

All import duties and/or taxes will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Order Cancellation

All orders may be cancelled before they go to print at no extra charge. Any job that has already been sent to print will require full payment prior to delivery.

Return Policy

Detonate Group prides itself on customer satisfaction. If any job that is received is damaged in any way, we will reprint the order free of charge.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to approve artwork before printing. Detonate Group is not responsible for colour clarity issues or other design concerns for jobs that have been designed by the customer and not by Detonate Group. If you require a printed proof of the product before sending it to print, please request this at the time of order.

ARTWORK GUIDELINES

In order to provide you with the best results in the least amount of time, please take note of the following specifications before sending your files.

File Specifications

QuarkXpress – Include all fonts & supporting images. Supporting images should be in CMYK colour format. Images should be at a resolution of 300dpi.
Adobe Illustrator – Save file as an EPS format. Images should be embedded, and fonts should be converted to outlines.
Adobe Photoshop – Photoshop files should be flattened and saved as a TIF document. Please make sure that your document is in CMYK colour format and at a resolution of at least 300dpi.
CorelDRAW – Save as a CDR format. All fonts must be converted to curves.
PDF Format – PDF files will only be accepted if they have been saved as a postscript file from your native program first, then ‘distilled” using Acrobat Distiller using PRESS setting.

Fonts

All fonts used must be supplied. Both printer and screen fonts must be included. Postscript fonts yield industry standard results. Alternatively all fonts can be converted to outlines.

Colours

All colours in your document must be CMYK. If you use spot colours in your design please convert them to CMYK before saving. Duotone images must also be converted to CMYK. If a print proof is required please request this at the time of order.

Scanning

All scanned images should be of a professional standard. Scanned images need to be saved at an appropriate resolution of 300dpi for continuous tone reproduction (photos and/or illustrations). Photos or scans should always be saved as CMYK and saved in TIF format.

Bleed Area

When we quote a print size, it is for that specific image area. Please make bleeds inward (at least .125”) unless otherwise specified. If your are bleeding outward please include bleed when requesting a quote.
